Acai Power
It’s a common question, if the acai berry detoxifies your body, if the acai berry promotes weight loss, if the acai berry promotes greater benefits in general. I can tell you this. As a superfruit, it does promote some benefits in general. It has vitamins, minerals, antioxidants. What it lacks are actual cleansing or weight loss properties. Yes, antioxidants are great, and green tea does promote weight loss. But it’s not because of its antioxidant content. It’s because he caffeine causes a thermogenic effect and the antioxidants compliment it in that particular case. This does not mean you should have acai and combine it with coffee, it doesn’t work the same way.
Realistically, cleansers and weight loss products require specific properties. For example, with weight loss, you could have properties of fat burning, metabolism boosting, or otherwise even appetite suppression. But the acai berry does not do any of these things, nor will it ever do any of these things. It just doesn’t quite have that capacity in all truth, though of course manufacturers would like you to think so even though they know that idea is not substantiated in the least. They tell you, because they assume you won’t know the difference.
