What We Like About Acai
Acai does have some powerful vitamins and minerals. It has essential vitamins, and it also has powerful antioxidants that can help you as well as good fatty acids that can help to improve skin and health in general.
What We Don’t Like About Acai
Acai does not promote weight loss. The simple fact is that realistically speaking, acai does not have any fat burning capabilities. As far as its health benefits, blueberries actually have higher concentrations of antioxidants than acai, meaning that ultimately speaking, you could get greater benefits there. Blueberries also have the same vitamins and good fatty acids in general. So ultimately speaking, the fact is that a lot of the ads are dishonest to say the least. It’s certainly not the #1 superfood.

There are plenty of acai based products out there, and there is plenty of hype surrounding acai. However, the simple fact is that acai does not have any weight loss benefits, and while it can be complimentary in certain ways, acai should not be a premiere ingredient, a weight loss ingredient, etc. We would definitely recommend staying away from those ingredients that rely on that particular hype.
